The LB-46D is a DC-DC PC  power supply meant to power auxillary devices such as USB hubs and LCD Monitors used in conjunction with your CarPC.

This model has a wide input range of 6-30V DC and gives a regulated output of 5V @ 2A and 12V @ 3A simultaneously. Automatic startup and shutdown is not built into this model.
